Reconnecting with My Strength: Paying Attention to the Parts of Me I’ve Neglected
One detail of my life that I’ve been neglecting is regular exercise.
I wouldn’t say my diet is terrible — I try to eat well and stay mindful — but when it comes to consistent movement, I’ve fallen off track. It’s probably been close to ten years since I’ve had a true exercise routine.
Back then, I felt stronger, more confident, and full of energy. I miss that version of me — not just the physical part, but how clear and capable I felt mentally. I’d love to rebuild my stamina, gain back some muscle, and rediscover the athletic, active side of myself that once felt so natural.
Overall, I just want to feel better — mentally, emotionally, and physically. Not to chase perfection or a number on a scale, but to feel like me again.
